Welcome to the world of Vanished Lands. For the people of this land, danger is seldom distant. Poisons and disease threaten their lives. Demons and the mists toy with their hearts. Ferals are screaming to break down the gates of civilization. Monsters from the depths of the sea hunt their ships and their minds. And the deserts swallow people whole.

Thought all must face death and worse in their lives, there are some who serve a higher purpose. Those who believe that the pursuit and preservation of knowledge is paramount to survival and critical to the continued existence of humanity. These women and men often succumb to the very dangers they face, but sometimes, their stories endure.

Vanished Lands: Storyteller Archive Vol. 1 is the second book in the Vanished Lands Roleplaying Game. It is a  collection of short stories, told from the perspective of the characters who live and survive in the Vanished Lands. A supplement written for both the storyteller and player in mind, this book provides a new and different look into a world where humanity is only barely surviving.
