Vanished Lands is a role playing game set far in the future after the day of vanishing when people all across the planet just disappeared, leaving fear, destruction, and despair in their place. An unknown amount of years later, the world has changed and pockets of humanity still exists. Pockets of humanity in the North American west have begun to explore their now harsh changed world and discover each other once.
But in a world where technology only works in the hands of the skilled, where strange magical mists grant those who study it strange and wonderous powers but, some say, at the cost of their soul, where strange inhuman beings some call demons hide in human guises corrupt and destroy whatever they can find, where entire groups of men have been lost to insanity and gone feral, where no dead lays still for long before they dissolve into mist, can humanity survive?
Will you be a Mail Man, dedicated to connecting the civilizations of humanity together and forging and finding the paths through the deserts, jungles, and magical mists that separate humanity?
